working for the weekend (of may 15th, to be precise)

the adventures of this lucky girl have been on haitus.

or at least, my efforts have been thrown 100% into the greatest adventure yet - finishing my Ph.D.

i am a bit disappointed that, even with months of work ahead of time, i am still rushing to the finish line, struggling to meet the deadline. don't worry, no matter what, i will be walking across that stage on may 15th (God willing)! but, the deadline to actually receive a degree date 5/15/2010 is rapidly approaching, and i'm not sure i'm going to make it.

i have been trying to focus on the mantra, it is what it is. there are many things in this world i can't change. my small sample size, my slow progress, and my advisor's lengthy reviewing my work, are just three of them. instead, i'm trying to stay focused on working hard right now. and not procrastinating by writing on my blog.
